NASHVILLE, TN (March 6, 2026) – Genre-blending QHMG / Quartz Hill Records artist Matt Cooper today released “Highs & Lows (Remix)” feat. Lathan Warlick. The remix is an inspiring reinvention of Cooper’s acclaimed debut single on Quartz Hill Records, which skyrocketed to become the No. 1 Most Added Song at U.S. Country Radio (Mediabase) out-of-the-box and is currently climbing the charts.

“I came in with the song, ‘Highs & Lows,’ I told Lathan the story of why I wrote it, and asked if he could maybe bring something new to it,” says Cooper. “The remix sounds awesome and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
“It’s an amazing song,” says Warlick. “Matt already killed it on the original, and when he called me for the remix, I had to jump on it because I wanted to explain the highs and lows of life for other people who’ve told me their stories, and I had my own story too.”
The original version of “Highs & Lows,” which has already earned more than 12 million streams, was a solo write for Cooper, who also produced the track alongside rising Texas-born artist-producer Brooks Huntley. The jaunty, mid-tempo singalong story song was inspired by the testimony of a man Cooper met while attending a grief-therapy class after losing his mother to cancer.
Co-written by Cooper and Warlick and produced by The720, “Highs & Lows (Remix)” retains the original track’s universal, uplifting chorus while replacing its sung verses with Warlick’s freshly conceived spoken verses, which tell new, personal tales of prodigal son salvation.
